About

A Family Tradition Since 1975

What began in 1975 as a simple roadside table where Jerry and Rosemary Smith sold their homegrown vegetables has grown into a beloved destination for families across Wisconsin, Illinois, and beyond. That humble table grew into the Country Store in 1978, and Rosemary's hand-painted pumpkin displays soon became a cherished fall tradition, delighting generations with scenes inspired by storybooks, films, and television.

In 2013, Joe and Amy Smith bought the farm, and their daughter, Lauren Smith, returned in 2023 to help manage and carry on traditions that her grandmother, Rosemary, cherished so deeply. Since then the farm has grown into one of the Midwest's top agritourism destinations, celebrated for both its family friendly atmosphere and generations of family traditions. Today, many members of the Smith family remain involved, from Jerry on the tractor to Joe's sisters lending a hand each fall, ensuring that the traditions Rosemary lovingly began live on.

For 50 years families have felt that Jerry Smith Farm is their farm too, it fills the Smith family with gratitude to share this milestone with their community. The family looks forward to celebrating this special moment in their history together. See you at the farm!
